LITTLE CASTLEs

For any change to happen according to GOD’s design there are processes of encounter that must serve as precedence and as time goes by, the point of encounter becomes the platform upon which change originates from and sustained. This place of encounter is the heart of man, the only place GOD desires to dwell apart from heaven. This is where GOD desires to encounter man and from there, HE would begin to wrought works that are holy and perfect and able to proffer lasting solutions in form of righteousness and peace.

As much as GOD wants to inhabit every heart by changing them to its specifications, HE desires something much more and that is the hearts that have not been tainted by impurities and filthiness of this world; the hearts of children that are naturally malleable and can be formed according to HIS utmost desires.

These are the Little CASTLEs – The altars of GOD that is pure enough to embody HIS Glory in a manner that has never been seen or experienced before. GOD looked and could only see these hearts as the custodians of the glorious future HE had designed even before the beginning of the earth.

So GOD is saying the guardians of The Little CASTLEs that HE does not want them to be shaped according to the devices and idiosyncrasies of men but the Truth of the Word of GOD which is the natural embodiment of GOD’s Glory and Majesty – as small as this CASTLEs are, HE has decided to make them as HIS abode and BUILDing them must be according to HIS specifications so they can be fit for Glory.

The dynamics is that these Little CASTLEs grow in leaps and bounds as per the rate the ONE who lives in them desires at any point in time. Unlike other bogus castles, The Little CASTLEs are living buildings and they grow in Grace and Truth simultaneously.

GOD is longing to raise a generation that will begin to move and grow according to HIS pure dictates and commands . . . growing only in the knowledge of GOD without any inclusion of the knowledge of“good and evil” that always makes man to hide from the presence of GOD.

02 | OF ZION, IN BABYLON: Food and Language

Daniel 1: 3 – 8

 Just like JESUS, Daniel would not let the hunger for food and exotics take him away from GOD. Daniel was captured from Jerusalem and taken to Babylon just as we are born into this world but GOD desires that we triumph over this world of sin by righteousness. And this was what Daniel kept in his heart from his time in Babylon till his dying days.

Babylon is not without its wisdom and cleverness but CHRIST in us is the embodiment of GOD’s Wisdom that is True and Pure. Babylonian system knew of a fact that what changes a man quickly is food and language. Food, being what opens him up to accept what the food bringer is about to offer next; and language and literature when taught strategically, tend to change the person of the learner. It goes beyond curing ignorance to changing the behaviour and way of life of the person.

The most effective of attacks or assaults are the ones the victims accept or succumb to willingly. Just like CHRIST, Daniel’s delight was not in the choice and exotic food and wine of Babylon but in the Word of GOD. Even though he missed the noble and royal food of Judah/Jerusalem, the Word of GOD was his most cherished delicacy and means of communicating to/with the world.

So his decision was to avoid cultural change and stick with the Kingdom culture by making The KING’s Law is delight after all, he was a custodian of the same Law just as we all are as believers in this end time.

Time and Quality

“But beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the LORD one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The LORD is not slack concerning His promises, as some count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” 2 Peter 3:8-9

Time as we know, is a human factor created by GOD for men to set up span of existence and milestones of achievements so as to know how often one is growing both in ages and in deeds (Psalm 90:12). It is used to study or measure the rate at which we grow or succeed and the sequence as well continuity of events. The question is “how does GOD put value on time?” “How does HE relate time with events and manifestations”?

Right from the Old Testament to the New, it shows that GOD is very particular about events more than HE is about time even though event is a function of time. GOD deals with the manifestation of HIS spoken Word and that is all that matters because in this manifestation, everything would be settled. HE does not work with time but with the way and sequence things are supposed to be.

What GOD really desire is the quality of what is being done . . . this is why 1000 years or 1 day does not really matter to HIM . . . all HE cares about is the quality of what is done during the period. This is why we must be careful about our walk and work with/in GOD. Even though GOD is longsuffering and would wait for thousand years if that is what it would take for HIS vessels on earth to realize whatever is needed for the manifestation of HIS glory, we should endeavour to submit ourselves unto HIM so that HIS Kingdom may reign supreme as soon as possible.

This must also be a warning for everyone who the LORD has given assignments for the enforcement of HIS Kingdom. The LORD has more than infinity to live or to reign on this “soon to be gone” earth but sadly, we do not have all the time in this world for our mortal body is everything but heavenly or eternal. This suggests that our relevance in GOD’s Kingdom is hinged on the quantity of the quality things we have accomplished through our wholehearted obedience to GOD that would determine our state of life in eternity.

There are some conditions that are to be met for GOD to do some certain things but the meeting of these conditions may take days or decades depending on the vessels that are responsible for these deeds . . . the best we can do is to let GOD use our time to bring forth the quality works HE desires to see.

GOD is never slack concerning HIS purpose but men who are failing to embody HIS covenant as agreed on the day of encounter. It is man that lacks the endurance to earnestly hope for GOD’s manifestation because GOD had already done HIS part and HE is waiting patiently for hearts to be inclined towards HIS heart and enduring our shortcomings in hope that we would one day get to where HE wants us to be.

1000days=1day and vice versa because whatever we are meant to realize and actualize had already been settled before time was made to be . . . so what HE is particular about is the sequence and the connection of what is done in eternity that should be evident on earth. GOD wants those who have knowledge understanding of GOD’s heart content and are ready to key themselves into its actualization.

KINGDOM, LAW AND FAITH

There are three things among other things that GOD cherishes in our relationship and work with HIM. If these three things are taking seriously at heart, our relationship and work with GOD will be inseparable.

As the KING, GOD has a Kingdom and a Kingdom cannot function without Laws that would guide and inform the Kingdom’s purpose of existence. So, if The Kingdom and Law are the elements of ruling the hearts of men, what is the need for Faith? How helpful is Faith to the KING and HIS people?

KINGDOM AND LAW

Generally, the law can be a set of instructions written in order to guide a system for the purpose of functioning according to design. This means that law does not create a Kingdom but guides to function according to the Creator. There would always be satisfaction if the Kingdom is always functioning as it needs to function and even though the Kingdom is not created by the law, they must equally emerge from the same source.

In ancient times, it is often said that the king is the law i.e. Whatever the king declares stands as the law people should live by. In the Kingdom of the LORD, the Word of GOD is the Law because HE is what HE says and the Spirit from which the Words HE speaks from is the embodiment of HIS kingdom. According to the Holy Bible, the summary of the Kingdom of the LORD is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. This means that whoever is living in the reality of the Kingdom of the LORD, these three things must be his reality and this can only be possible if the Laws of the KING are being kept sincerely and cheerfully.

FAITH

According to the book of Hebrew, Faith is the substance of the things hoped for and the evidence of the things not seen . . . So how does Faith relates to the Kingdom of the LORD and the Laws governing it?

From the Scriptures, it is evident that:

1. Law of GOD = HIS Word
2. Word of GOD = HIS person or Who HE is
>>>Therefore, The Law of GOD = GOD HIMSELF

Also,

1. Kingdom of GOD: King’s Domain
2. Domain: Everything was made by HIS Word

This means that whatever we see and not see i.e. whatever we know to be existing and the ones we are not aware of their existence were made by GOD’s Word. They are all from GOD. “The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof . . .”

So, GOD asking us to have Faith is a way of saying that:

“I am My Word and My Word is Law; My Kingdom is a part of Me that I have spread in the hearts of My people on earth and even upon the earth itself. My Kingdom and My Law are both products of My Spirit. Can you just obey ME when I say a word to you in form of a command? Since I am the Law and you have accepted this same Law, can you just do things only because I say so even though it may not make sense in the immediate?”

If GOD speaks and HIS words become law and everything we see are products of the same words, it means there is more to GOD that can only be accessed through a relationship with HIS person. Faith is more of our relationship with the KING that founded the Kingdom and made the Law . . . If we accept the person of GOD and HIS Son JESUS CHRIST, then the Law would be natural to live by and the Kingdom will be our abode even as HE abides in us.

Faith is allowing GOD to live out HIS Kingdom and Laws from our within . . . Selah!

Comfort and Suffering

 

2Corinthians 1: 3-7

Many have mastered that art of reaping and sowing . . . “If you do this, you will get that . . .” And due to this, they would not do anything without a motive attached to it or a promise of what needs to be gotten because something has been done. The motive being the hope of getting things that exchange the feeling of what is lost with the feeling of abundance of what is lost. This mentality has found its way into the core of the Church.

We see comfort as a means of GOD consoling us for the suffering we have passed through for the sake of the Gospel. We see consolation as GOD telling us to relax and enjoy the fruit of our labour and because of this, we have turned the work of GOD to the equivalent of the world’s kind of sacrifice before getting what is hoped for.

The world sees endurance as a means of waiting till you lay your hands on what is here on earth but GOD wants us to endure so that in this present time and at the earth’s very end, HE would reward us with HIMSELF. HE said we are not of this world even though we are in the very middle of it . . . This means that whatever we do here on earth is for the purpose of standing strong before HIM. So to a man given to GOD and HIS SON, both comfort and suffering are tools for advancing GOD’s Kingdom and spreading the Gospel of CHRIST.

The purpose of enduring hardship is for the sake of letting the Gospel touch the hearts of men . . . if the only way to reach their hearts is to humble ourselves to the basest, then that is what needs to be done. And if by means of this GOD rewards our toils by providing what we lack in the times of suffering, it is so that we can use this reward to reach out more to men or to those who can be reached by utilizing these rewards/consolation.

In the bid to reach out to hearts with the rewards we received from HIM, it is possible we go back to where we were before – ‘in the suffering state’. This simply means that our comfort and suffering are both channeled into the furthering of GOD’s Kingdom and JESUS’ Gospel. No matter the situation we find ourselves, GOD and HIS Kingdom; JESUS and HIS Gospel should be our priority in any condition. Our suffering must not hinder our services to the Kingdom and being in the state of comfort must not make us relent in sharing the Gospel of CHRIST in Truth. It is the faithful services we offer to HIM regardless of our situation that informs HIM of the quality of our devotion.

The ultimate comfort or consolation is in the knowledge and the realization that we will be with HIM and also be like HIM in the end. The consolation of this world could make one very entitled and loose focus on the ultimate and eternal consolation – HIMSELF! We must know that both comfort and suffering are tools and means to an end that GOD has at heart for all that would make HIM their LORD and KING!

Love is the basis of The KINGDOM Culture . . .

In Exodus 19:6, GOD called Israel the Holy Nation and Kingdom of Priests. HE told them to come unto HIM that HE may write HIS Laws upon their hearts. HE even called them HIS First Born which signifies that GOD wanted many Sons unto HIMSELF.

HE did not want them to conquer by war but by Love; HE wanted them to serve as Priests so as to lead other nations into the presence of the LORD so that they can be come holy as HE is holy. If Love is essence and being and HIS Word is who HE is, it confirms that whatever GOD wanted to achieve through the Israelites was not what happened after they rejected HIS encounter.

But in Micah4:3, GOD was saying that in the days to come, people would no longer need swords or spears but plowshares and pruninghooks. This means that instead of war and destruction order, beauty and fruitfulness would be the order of the day. The energy people use for waging war against will be used for producing beauty and wealth.

The only force that can produce beauty and fruitfulness is Love for it is through the Love of GOD and the love for man that man creates solutions for the problems that abound in this world. By these creations, people would automatic go through processes they should not have gone through voluntarily. They will begin to subscribe to the system love has created in being a solution to a problem.

Had Israelites agreed with the LORD, Amorites, Hittites, Jebusites would have been remembered as part of the LORD’s people till today. But because they refused, GOD had to do things based on their choices. Their relationship with GOD would have birthed something great in the hearts. Imagine the whole Israelites acting and responding to issues with Love in their hearts (as Priests); carrying the burden of other nations till they accept GOD. It would have been a glorious sight!
